Mike Deathe, CPDT-KA, shares tips on what fur parents should look for when searching for a doggie daycare.

Why Doggy Daycare?
1. Exercise the myth of the back yard and the walk
2. Social Skills Use it or lose it (speaking a foreign language example
3. Mom or Dads day out … Sometimes you just need a break raising a pup aint easy!!!

What to look for:
Dogs separated by size and By Temperament
Play groups of less than 8 dogs
Day care should not be all day. Dogs should rotate from play to quiet time throughout the day.
Be able to do a pop in and get a tour. If they ask you to come back later, that's not a good sign.
Understanding that not all dogs are daycare dogs. Just like all people are not the life of the party. A good daycare will talk to you coach your and be honest with you.
