Filmmakers Jennifer DeLia, Julie Pacino and James Wirt spoke of their movie "Billy Bates," which premieres in Kansas City at Tivoli Cinemas in Westport. Jennifer is an Overland Park native.

"I had my first internship at KPRS the radio station in Kansas City," she said. "I just wanted to be in the environment of entertaining, storytelling, and creativity. I was itching to explore and being at that radio station really gave me a much-needed outlet."

Jennifer, Julie and James will embark on a 10 city promotional in support of the November 18 U.S. release of the film on iTunes, Cable VOD and several other platforms.
