Helpful email tips when applying for jobs

Effective email communication is key when applying for a new job. Tammy Kabell offers some tips that will help you put your best foot forward.

According to the new 'MailTime Email Etiquette Survey' conducted by MailTime, the top five biggest email etiquette mistakes are:

#1: Emails that are "insensitive" in tone (93% disapproval)
#2: Emails that are not personally addressed to you (88% disapproval)
#3: Emails that have numerous replies (87% disapproval)
#4: Emails that have numerous recipients (82% disapproval)
#5: Emails that are too long (81% disapproval)
