KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Rachael Ray is celebrating her 1,500th show.  If that isn't enough to get the fast-talking chef excited, the TV host and author is also pumped about the upcoming Thanksgiving season.

She says it's an understatement to say the show really goes all out for Thanksgiving.

"Thanksgiving A to Z" is how she describes it, and this year is bigger than ever.

In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, Rachael Ray will be joined by fellow celebrity chefs Curtis Stone and Emeril Lagasse.

She says the day before the Thanksgiving show, Curtis will join her for her annual carve-along in which each audience member will get a turkey and learn to carve it.

"Curtis is carving the turkey blindfolded," she said, very excited. "He juggles too."

When FOX 4's Kim Byrnes and Nick Vasos asked her for Thanksgiving tips, she didn't miss a beat: Stock up on stock, and lots of it... because, "if your gravy goes south or you burn the drippings," reach for the stock, she advises.

Another important question her Kansas City fans want to know: Has she ever tried and does she like Kansas City barbecue?

Watch the video in the player above for her answer!

The Rachael Ray show airs weekdays at 11 a.m. on FOX 4.  Tune in to get yourself ready for the best Thanksgiving to date!
