Police seek hit-and-run victim’s father for questioning

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police are searching for the father of a hit-and-run victim from late November. They would like to talk to him.

The incident, which took place on November 24, where a driver ran into a little boy and then took off, left the two-year-old victim seriously hurt.

Kansas City, Kansas police want to find the boy's father, Eduardo Lopez, and talk to him. They also want to find a blue 2007 Toyota Tundra with Kansas tag 643-CSN.

The boy's mother was unloading groceries when the car hit the boy and fled. Doctors tell FOX 4 the boy is expected to survive, though he suffered serious lung and chest injuries.

Police are asking the public to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS with any information.
