KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rescued animals from the KC Pet Project did special art projects as a way to raise money for the shelter, along with their fellow shelter mates.

KC Pet Project operates out of three difference places throughout the metro, including the KC Animal Shelter at 4400 Raytown Road in Kansas City, Missouri, in Zona Rosa at 7351 NW 87th Terr. Kansas City, Missouri, and at the Petco located at 11620 W. 85th Street in Overland Park, Kansas.

Each animal artist has his or her very own story to tell which is highlighted on its own video on the KC Pet Project’s web site. The video above highlights the paintings done by cats, dogs, puppies and kittens along with the people at the shelter who love and care for the animals with the funds raised.

What KC Pet Project has to say about their animal artists:

“Did you know that, along with the lovely videos and paintings that were created by our animal artists, we had cards made too that were sent out to our supporters? There are actually 15 different versions of the cards created just for you by our artists! You can now purchase the cards as sets at all three KC Pet Project locations for the perfect gift or stocking stuffer. There are 15 blank cards and envelopes in the set and they retail for $20.”
