AKRON, Ohio -- Good Old Saint Nick delivered more than just presents in Ohio. Santa granted quite the wish to a child battling cancer who hoped to see his parents get married.

Sister station FOX 8 reports that four-year-old Billy Cramer has endured a difficult year.

"He's been sick now for about a year. He was diagnosed about a year ago with neuroblastoma," mom Sarah Lewis said.

"I have watched him go through things that I don’t think that I could do, and he does it with a smile. He always has a smile no matter how rough it is or how hard it is for us," dad William Cramer said.

Getting care for their son has forced plans to change, including Sarah and William’s wedding plans.

"I think over the past five-and-a- half years we have been together, we have made plans a big wedding. You know, the usual, a ceremony and something just seems to happen to throw the plans away for a little bit," Sarah said.

But on Christmas Day, with family gathered in Billy's room at Akron Children's Hospital, Sarah and William made a lot of Christmas wishes come true.

"Christmas has always been special for me. I love winter, I love being with my family, but I think this is going to make everybody's Christmas a little bit better," William said.

Taking their vows on a most sacred day, where Billy would not be left out

"I now present to you: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cramer. You may kiss the bride," Sarah’s uncle, Pastor David Crisco, said as he finished the ceremony.
