KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- If you're looking to send a little Kansas City love to friends outside the metro, a couple of entrepreneurs may have just what you're looking for.

It's called the Kansas City Box. The online business began just a few weeks ago and is gaining traction. Dalton Green and John Ruiz are working with small businesses and Kansas City based corporations to offer a wide variety of options for you to chose from.

Everything from Boulevard glasses, to Roastarie coffee and Topsys popcorn and Hallmark cards can be sent. For the sports fans, Green and Ruiz also have items from the Royals and Chiefs.

"We just wanted to share the love, the gift of Kansas City the easiest way possible and that was the Kansas City box," Green said.

"We're making someone happy when they receive the boxes and open them and get all the trinkets and collectibles from Kansas City, we feel like we are spreading the word really have pride in our city, fun for us," Ruiz said.

All orders can be placed online. The hope in the near future is to have boxes for specific holidays, thank you gifts and "just because." For more information, please click on this link.
