Watch: Montana officer overcome with emotion after shooting unarmed suspect

BILLINGS, Mont. — A police dash cam video captured an officer who gets emotional after he fatally shot an unarmed suspect in Montana.

According to the Billings Gazette, Billings police officer Grant Morrison was overcome by emotion after the shooting happened.

The suspect, Richard Ramirez, was reportedly high on meth and ignored Morrison’s commands to show his hands.

On the tape, Morrison can be heard saying, “I thought he was going to pull a gun on me.”

The officer was cleared of any wrongdoing and has since returned to duty.
