KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Three suspects are in custody Tuesday morning after an overnight chase that crossed state lines.

Police followed the truck into a rural area just north of 18th street and K-5 in Kansas City, Kan., where the truck finally came to a stop. This is where police were able to make their arrest.

Officers said that when they initially saw the stolen vehicle and tried to pull it over, the suspects drove off, sparking a police chase at speeds up to 90 mph.

The officer pursuing the vehicle lost track of the suspects, but another officer later spotted the stolen vehicle and tried to pull it over.

There were two men and one woman inside the vehicle according to authorities.

At one point officers said they put down stop sticks to flatten the tires, but the driver continued.

Police said the truck had been stolen from the North Kansas City area a day earlier.

Crews were on scene around 6:45 a.m Tuesday morning to tow away the stolen pick-up truck from the scene.
