KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are looking for three suspects involved in a string of three armed robberies Tuesday night.

The robberies all took place within twenty minutes of each other and occurred around 9 p.m.

The first robbery of the night took place at the Phillips 66 off 102nd and State Line Road.

Police said one of the suspects went into the store with a gun and ran out with some cash.

Just before that, Kansas City police said two of the suspects went into the Dollar General Store on 105th and Grandview Road and pretended to buy something.

When the clerk opened the cash drawer, one of the suspects took out a handgun while the second suspect grabbed cash from the drawer.

The third robbery was at the 7-Eleven on Grandview. One of the suspects went in and pretended to buy something when his two partners ran in with a gun and robbed the clerk. The suspect then held the door open while the other two ran out.

Police said the three suspects were driving a black Dodge pickup with a silver toolbox in the back.

No one was injured during the robberies, but police have urged anyone who might recognize these suspects to call Kansas City police or the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
