Cancelled: Odessa police search for endangered teen

ODESSA, Mo. — The Odessa Police Department issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing teen Thursday morning. It was cancelled Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:20 p.m.

Police said Alison Kathryn Brown, 16, was last seen in at her home  located at 720 West Main Street in Odessa, Mo. around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. BROWN ALISON fax scan image

She is described as  5’07” tall and 200 pounds.  She has brown hair, blue eyes, fair complexion with freckles and glasses. Police report that she has a brown mole on the left palm and a birth mark on her upper right thigh. Police didn’t say what she was wearing but said she was carrying a Harry Potter backpack.

According to police, Brown has a history of suicidal thoughts and fleeing from law enforcement.
