Found: Truck involved in fatal Lenexa hit-and-run that killed 19-yr-old

LENEXA, Kan. – The Kansas Highway Patrol confirmed Tuesday that the Toyota Tacoma truck involved in a fatal pedestrian accident Saturday night on I-35 near the 69 Highway exit, has been located.

Shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, Steven Schuster, 19, of Ohio was hit by a vehicle on southbound Interstate-35 near the 69 Highway exit. Troopers said Schuster was killed when a driver tried to cut through an area off-road there. The driver who hit Schuster did not stop.
