PHOENIX, Ariz. — The meteorologist for FOX 10 kept viewers laughing despite the apparent boiling temperatures in Arizona.

The meteorologist was pointing out temperatures around Phoenix when he noticed some of the temperatures were in the thousands. Instead of telling viewers there was a mistake, he decided to play it off and what he did was quite comical.

In the clip he said he’s not authorized people to evacuate from their city but suggested that residents “just get out.”

He even joked that one city was a total loss due to the extreme temperatures and that steel could probably boil at the temperature of another city.

For the viewer who might be looking to escape the “blazing” temperatures, the meteorologist was sure to point out the few cities that hadn’t been effected by “the heat” deeming them “safe spots.”

The meteorologist was sure to reiterate “again I’m not your dad, but I would get out while you still can,” before switching to a more accurate forecast.
