INDEPENDENCE Mo, -- A young girl was found wandering in the cold Monday morning.

A family friend said Daisy went out onto the deck sometime overnight and never came back in.

The friend said the family usually has a stick on the back door to prevent the girl from wandering off. According to the friend, it wasn't sure if Daisy removed the stick or the stick was not put back in the door because the deck door was open when Daisy's sister found her.
