Money raised for 10-year-old KCK boy with rare brain cancer

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Sunday afternoon people were having a good time at a metro lodge, helping a boy fight cancer.

FOX 4's Megan Dillard was live in Kansas City, Kansas with the story of 10-year-old Hayden, who has been battling a rare form of brain cancer.

According to Hayden’s GoFundMe page, on August 1, 2014, Hayden suddenly suffered multiple seizures, which resulted in emergency brain surgery. On August 2, the fifth grader was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, which is a very rare brain cancer in children. So far, Hayden has gone through radiation and three rounds of chemotherapy.
