Kristina Light, Digital Media Manager at KC Parent stopped by the FOX 4 morning show to share some of her favorite day camps for kids.

KC ZOO:
PATHFINDER CAMP (AGES 6-12)
March 18-20, 8:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
Cost:$150
Safari Day Camp March 16- 22, 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 

SPRING BREAK SPECIALS AT PARADISE PARK, LEE'S SUMMIT
March 13-22
Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m. -8 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, 9:30 a.m. -10 p.m.
Sunday, Noon-6 p.m.
SPRING BREAK CAMP AT STARLIGHT
March 16 - 20
Ages: 6-14
$225 for five full days!
SPRING BREAK AT THE NELSON-ATKINS MUSEUM OF ART
Teen classes offered during the day Mar. 18-20.
The museum is open to visitors Wed-Sun.

 

SPRING BREAK BLAST AT SCIENCE CITY
March 9-22
KC PARKS AND REC:
This is a week-long day camp for youth to enjoy while on spring break. Students will play team-building games, engage in healthy learning, work on art projects, and more!
Ages: 6-13
Session fee: $40
March 16-20
Location: Brush Creek, Marlborough, Hillcrest

 

JOHNSON COUNTY PARKS AND REC:
-Swimming (ages 5+)
-Baseball (ages 7-14)
-Discovery: Mad Science (ages 7-12)  March 16th-March 20th 8:30-noon
-Nature & Science: adventures camp (ages 11-13) 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
-Art: Super Spring Break Art Camp (ages 8-12) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Computers: 3-d & video game design (ages 10-17)

 

YMCA:
Enjoy the summer camp experience a little earlier in the year with our Spring Break Camps. Kids have the opportunity to find new talents, try new activities, gain independence and make lasting memories in a fun and supportive environment.   9 a.m. -4 p.m.  different drop-offs at different school districts.
