KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Cerner is pairing with VFW to provide career opportunities for service members.

Cerner announced that it will co-host a virtual career fair Wednesday. The career fair begins at 10 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m.

The company's website has an online military decoder tool that can match a veteran with a suggested job at Cerner.

"We can see their resumes," Troy Teague of Cerner said. "There's also a military decoder on our website that allows you to put in your military job and it will do an auto search for you to bring back which positions might be a good fit."

Available positions ranged from technical support analyst to nurse.

Cerner already employs more than 250 veterans and reserves.
