KAMO Adventures hosts BrewBQue to raise money for wounded veterans

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Retired Marie Corps Infantry Officer Eric McElvenney is not only an inspiration through his tale of recovery, but also through his volunteer work.

McElvenney and Bill Eckert work with KAMO Adventures, a non-profit organization in Kansas City.

KAMO Adventures takes wounded veterans on hunting and fishing trips in Southern Mo. The organization also offers scholarships through local universities.

KAMO Adventures will host a BrewBQue Thurs. Feb. 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Boulevard Brewing Co to raise money.
