MISSION HILLS, Kan. — A fire broke out at a home undergoing remodeling in Mission Hills, Kan., Friday afternoon. Flames were evident at the home in the 2300 block of West 59th St.

The homeowner told FOX 4 that they were doing some construction work at the time the fire started and he believes that is likely what caused it. An electrician working on the house noticed smoke and called the fire department.
