KANSAS CITY, Kan. --  Wyandotte County prosecutors brought charges against three men on Friday accused of carrying out an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store at 13th and Quindaro on March 3.

Charles Bowser, Dyron King and Cecil Meggerson have all been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and one count of criminal possession of a firearm related to the incident. All are being held in jail on $1 million bonds.

The prosecutor's office stated in a news release that law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, ATF, Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office and Kansas City, Mo., Police Department have actively been investigating this robbery as well as a series of other robberies. Those crimes include an armed robbery and shooting at a KCK 7-Eleven where off-duty Wyandotte County sheriff's deputy Scott Wood was critically wounded.

The prosecutor's office says charges have only been filed in the Family Dollar robbery based on evidence and crime reports submitted to the office. All three suspects are due in court for these charges on March 9.
