KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police arrested a 30-year-old man on Wednesday evening following a chase that ended in the southbound lanes of 169 Highway near Englewood Road.

Authorities tell FOX 4 the pursuit began at Barry Road and North Oak Trafficway when a federally wanted suspect named Aaron Whitworth appeared to stop, but then hit multiple U.S. Marshal Service vehicles and fled. The pursuit continued down Barry Road, with the suspect later leading authorities down 169 Highway.

Whitworth was wanted on federal charges for distribution of methamphetamine, eluding law enforcement, aggravated robbery and burglary.

Investigators say no officers were hurt, and the cars that were hit had only minor damage. Whitworth is in jail Wednesday night, in the custody of the Kansas City, Mo. Police Department according to online records.
