OAK GROVE, Mo. -- The Oak Grove school district cancelled morning bus routes Thursday after multiple buses were vandalized.

Gene Robinson Safety Supervisor  for Durham School Services said that it looked like someone used a portable drill to put holes into the tires of 15 buses. In total 38 bus tires were punctured, which will cost nearly $10,000 to repair.

Robinson said they made the discovery around 5:30 a.m.

The buses are expected to repaired by Thursday afternoon, according to Robinson.

According to the superintendent Freddie Doherty classes are still in session for the day.

No suspect information has been released.
