GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Two crime scenes in Grandview Friday night included one where someone fired gunshots into a home in the 15300 block on Fuller, and another where someone was shot at around the corner.

Police set up a perimeter where they say two men in a four-door black car drove past and fired rounds into the house on Fuller. A resident in the home gave chase and was fired at, but was not injured. The second shooting took place near East 154th Terrace.

FOX 4 spoke with a man who said he was walking alongside his bike when the shots were fired. He said it all happened fast and at first, he thought it was a toy gun that fires caps.

That man told FOX 4’s Katie Banks that he’d never seen the people in the black car before and he’s not sure why they pointed a gun in his direction. As for police, they remained at the scene on Friday night and the search for suspects is ongoing.
