18 knives, 1 gun and other weapons found in carry-on bag at KCI Airport

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Officials at KCI Airport stopped a passenger from carrying a bag of weapons onto the plane early Tuesday morning.

There were 18 knives, two hatchets, 11 rounds of ammo and two flares inside of the bag, according to officials.

TSA agents said they found all of the weapons in one bag. The agents said the bag was search before the passenger boarded the plane.
