KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Two-victims injured in Thursday’s fire in Shawnee are now out of the hospital. Doctors at the University of Kansas Hospital say a 91-year-old woman remains hospitalized. She is being treated for smoke inhalation.

Doctors say the woman is sedated and remains in serious condition. The rest of the family is making plans to honor two others killed in the fire.

Ronnie Walkup and his great-nephew, three-year-old Christian Young, died in the smoke and flames.

Two GoFundMe pages have been set up in the aftermath. This one will help with funeral expenses for Christian. This one will help with Walkup's funeral expenses and funds for the survivors.
