Man suffers serious injuries in KCMO shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police officers found a shooting victim Thursday afternoon in the 4200 block of Cleveland with life-threatening injuries. Police were sent to the area at approximately 3:20 p.m. where witnesses say they heard gunshots and saw a vehicle quickly speed away from the scene.

The victim is a black man in his mid-30’s, and he was taken to a hospital. Police don’t have many details at present, but if you know something about the shooting, you’re urged to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
