SAN FRANCISCO -- Google i/o is for developers, the creative coders who are building what's coming next. Each year they gather their minds to explore the latest in tech and mobile and beyond.

Among the topics at this year's conference in San Francisco: Features coming to the next version of Android, called 'M.'

They include:
Two times more battery life thanks to something called Doze.. which is similar to a sleep-mode.
Google Now ontap... allows you to hold the button down and get more information.
Android Pay turns your phone into a wallet.
New Google photos high quality pictures and videos online for free. Really? Organizes by faces, places and things.
