KCMO police search for suspect that robbed a northland bank

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Missouri police are searching for the suspect that robbed a northland bank late Wednesday morning.

Police said that just before 10:45 a.m.  they got a report that there had been a robbery at Equity Bank located in the 6200 block of NW 63rd Terrace.

According to police, no injuries have been reported.

Police described the suspect as white female approximately 25 to 30 years old. She has a slim build and was wearing blue jeans, a gray short-sleeved T-shirt and red bandanna. She was also carrying a black purse.

According to police the suspect handed the teller a note that demanded money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the scene in a silver four-door vehicle with tinted windows.
