MT. JULIET, Tenn. — A father and his two young sons are lucky to be alive after their car crashed and got wedged under a tanker truck full of milk.
According to WKRN, the 33-year-old father lost control during heavy rain along Interstate 40 in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, on Thursday morning. The man’s car hit the tanker truck, which then climbed on top of the car.
The truck driver reportedly didn’t realize what happened right away, and dragged the car a short distance before finally coming to a stop.
The father and his two young sons, ages 9 and 11, were taken to a Nashville hospital with non life-threatening injuries. They are listed in stable condition.
