New program aims to help children in low-income areas participate in youth sports

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City is helping kids who live in lower-income neighborhoods have the chance to participate in youth sports. Now a new event is hoping to help the city’s “LAB” or Lifestyle, Attitude, Behavior program.

Jo Anne Gabbert, Toby Cook and Delton Cooper joined FOX 4 to chat about the program and share what people can expect at the first-ever Sportsfest Luncheon.
