KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Royals fans weren’t deterred by Sunday’s sunny summer heat at the afternoon game at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals took home an 11 to 10 win over the Toronto Blue Jays, though the players weren’t the only ones on fire.

Fans said it felt like “101 degrees!” Many of them wore hats, packed water bottles, and covered up with sunscreen before enduring solid sun for several hours during the game. FOX 4’s Megan Dillard caught up with several fans before the first pitch to see how they went about beating the heat.
