KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Two recent victims of drive-by shootings are related to each other, according to police.

Police say a five-year-old girl who was shot in a drive-by Saturday morning is the niece of a woman who was killed in Overland Park last Monday.

Police told FOX 4 that Quaushey Harris, who was shot and killed in her Overland Park duplex, is the aunt of the five-year-old little girl shot this weekend. Harris was killed at her home on West 61st Terrace. An 11-year-old girl was also injured during that shooting.

The five-year-old was hit in her leg and her hip while inside a home on Oakland Street. Police confirm to FOX 4 the duplex Harris was shot in is just across the street from a where a double homicide happened the week before. Police said both homicides on that street are related.
