KCMO Health Department investigates if death of man in his 30’s was heat-related

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Missouri Health Department tweeted late Tuesday morning that a male born in 1980 died, but the cause of his death was still being determined.

The tweet says the death is being investigated by the Jackson County Medical Examiner to see if it is heat-related.

According to the health department there has been one confirmed heat-related death so far this year. Three others are still being investigated.
