Ben Zobrist to suit up in Royals uniform Thurs. night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —  The Kansas City Royals announced late Thursday morning that infielder/outfielder Ben Zobrist has officially joined the club.

Zobrist  is expected to be in uniform for the Royals’ Thursday night game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

In relation to recent roster moves for the Royals, the club also optioned outfielder Paulo Orlando to Triple-A Omaha.
