OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Pregnant woman throughout the metro attended Overland Park Convention Center’s first annual Baby Love Baby Fair on Sunday.

Hundreds of pregnant women got out early and waited in line for hours for the event. Swag bags went to the first 250 pregnant women in line. The bags were valued at almost $500 each and included prenatal massages, nursing pillows and free photo sessions.

Some pregnant women waited in line all night, while others had someone kind enough to do it for them.

“He decided to stay up all night so we could get here like 5 a.m. I have a hard time with morning sickness so he stood in line for me and went back home to get two hours sleep before going back to work," said Holly Long, who is 15 weeks pregnant.

"Got here around 5 am. I'm determined to be here. I heard about it two weeks ago and want to get my swag bag,” said Alyssa Phillips, who is 26 weeks pregnant.

Daddy races, a live gender reveal and Etsy row were also part of Sunday’s event.
