HAYS, Kan. – Six members of a Lee’s Summit, Missouri family were involved in a tragic accident Monday. Three adults are dead, and three children are recovering.

The family’s vehicle began to swerve to the right and off into the ditch on the north side, then began sliding to the right and then to the left.
Witnesses said the vehicle then spun around crossing both westbound lanes of traffic and ended up rolling multiple times. The vehicle finally came to rest on the driver side in the median.
