Many came out for the incredible sights and sounds of the KC Aviation Expo-Air Show 2015

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Aviation Expo Air Show was August 22 and 23 at the Wheeler Downtown Airport, and organizers were gearing up for its return after three years without it.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels headlined the show.

The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team was originally scheduled to be part of the show but canceled, due to a 'safety stand down' to honor Sergeant First Class Corey Hood.

There was also a Kids Zone with themed ounce houses and obstacle courses. People could sit in a cockpit of a fighter jet as well. There was also be a helicopter flight simulator, as well as booths for food and drink.
