PHILADELPHIA — For the second time, a service dog in Pennsylvania has saved her owner’s life by calling 911.

The dog named Yolanda is trained to dial 911 using a specialized telephone.  Her owner is blind, and when Yolanda detected the fire in their Philadelphia home, she called for help. Firefighters received the call and saved the woman.

This is actually the second time Yolanda has called 911.  Last year her owner fell and was knocked unconscious.
