KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Long before Beyoncé came around there was Pam Grier. In the 1970’s Pam Grier shot to fame by starring in movies like “Foxy Brown” and Quentin Tarantino’s underrated classic “Jackie Brown.”

During the height of the Blaxploitation era, she broke boundaries not just in film, but in the music and fashion industries as well.
