OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- A teen accused of killing an Overland Park man and seriously injuring a woman in a suspected drunk driving accident pleaded guilty to his charges on Thursday morning.

Conner Estrella stood in front of a judge and pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated battery.

Estrella faces up to 14 years in jail.

Police say Estrella was drinking and driving last August  when he crashed his car near 84th and Tomahawk Road. Kevin Moroney was killed in the accident, and Moroney's girlfriend, Maureen Hogg, was seriously hurt.

The two were standing outside Moroney's house, near Hogg's vehicle when they were hit.

Police say Estrella's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit at 0.18.

Estrella will be sentenced on September 17.
