Chiefs ask fans to vote for new touchdown celebration song

The Chiefs are asking fans to help them select a new touchdown celebration song.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Friday that fans will have an opportunity to vote for a new touchdown celebration song.

Voting began at noon on Friday and runs through Mon. August 31st at 11:59 p.m.

Fans have the opportunity to chose between three songs:

  •  “Hey, Kansas City!” by David George and A Crooked Mile
  •  “Song 2” by Blur
  • “Let Me Clear My Throat” by DJ Kool

The song that wins the competition will be revealed after the first Chiefs touchdown on Thurs. September 17 when the Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos. The game will be the first regular season game to be played at Arrowhead Stadium.
