Firefighters investigate what caused large blaze at KCMO home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Firefighters in KCMO are investigating what caused a home to go up in flames early Wednesday morning.

It was just before 5 a.m. when firefighters were dispatched to a home near 59th and Indiana.

When firefighters arrived on the scene they found flames pouring out of the first and second floors of the home.

It took about 15 minutes for firefighters to get the flames under control.

It wasn’t clear if anyone lived in the home, but so far no injuries have been reported.
