Man charged with assault and child endangerment following officer-involved shooting and crash in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A metro man faces charges in relation to a crash and officer-involved shooting on Friday.

Pierre Hill-Williams, 21, is charged with assault on law enforcement and child endangerment.

Police say there were two young children in a vehicle during an incident which took place at 55th and Swope on Friday.

Police say, a man knocked over a Kansas City police officer’s motorcycle. The officer drew a gun and fired shots into the vehicle. One of the bullets nicked one of the babies in the car.

The officer wasn’t injured during the incident.
