Woman sentenced to nearly seven years in prison for Oak Park Mall robbery

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — A woman convicted in an Oak Park Mall robbery received a prison sentence of a nearly seven years Thursday.

Anastasia Adkins and three others are accused of holding a mall employee at gunpoint outside the mall in January.

The victim told police that the suspects pointed a gun in her face and demanded her purse and cellphone.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving.

A judge today sentenced Adkins to 82 months in prison in connection to the incident.
