KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals are offering non-season ticket holders a chance to purchase potential 2015 postseason single-game tickets. The club announced on Friday that fans can register for an opportunity to purchase tickets that span from the Wild Card game all the way through to the World Series.

Until Friday, only season ticket holders and those who had purchased a special 10-game package were eligible for postseason tickets. The Royals say in a news release that anyone interested only needs to register once to be considered for the Wild Card game, followed by the American Divisional Series, American League Championship Series and World Series.

The club will notify winners through their e-mail addresses 48 hours in advance of each series. Winners will have the option of purchasing two tickets for each game throughout the series, pending availability. A list of drawing dates can be found through this website. Tickets purchased to any games not played will be refunded in full.

While the Wild Card game is included as an option for now, the Royals are in a commanding position to win the division, which means they’ll likely get to skip the Wild Card game and begin play in the Divisional Series. Coming into play on Friday night, the magic number to win the AL Central was 17, meaning any combination of 17 Royals wins and Minnesota Twins losses will give KC its first division title since 1985.
