Warrensburg police search for suspect who robbed bank, fled with money

WARRENSBURG, MO. — Police say that a bank in Warrensburg was robbed Friday afternoon.

According to police, the robbery suspect entered the UMB Bank in the 100 block of S. Holden St.  around 1:52 p.m., and demanded money from the teller.

The suspect took the money and fled from the bank on foot, police say.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery, according to police.

Police describe the suspect as a while male who is in his early 20s, 5’4″ to 5’6″ tall with a heavy build. Witnesses told police he was dress in black clothing.
