Tractor-trailer split in half after colliding with train in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A tractor-trailer is significantly damaged after it collided with a train early Tuesday morning.

According to KCMO police the accident happened around 5 a.m. at Underground and N. Eldon. Crews on the scene say the tractor-trailer was crossing the train tracks when the crash happened.

The tractor-trailer was cut in half with the trailer on one side of the train and the rig on the other. According to officers on the scene, the tractor-trailer was loaded with truck frames.

No injuries were reported in the accident. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the accident.
