KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Several people from the Kansas City area were taken to the hospital on Monday after the bus that was taking them to Kansas City from Philadelphia got into a wreck.
People who were riding behind the bus say the tire blew when the bus was in the center lane on the road about 40 miles outside of Indianapolis. It swerved, narrowly missing a semi-truck, went up and down two embankments and grazed a tree.
The bus driver said when the tire blew, he got thrown from his seat, so he's not sure how the incident didn't turn out more serious.
Those who were taken to the hospital all turned out to have no major injuries.
