KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Dozens of Kansas City veterans are back home after making the trip to Washington D.C., Tuesday.

94-year-old Bernice Williams was only the second female from Kansas City to go on an honor flight. She joined the marines in WWII.

She was one of the first marines stationed on the west coast.

Williams says her favorite thing she saw on the trip was the Air Force memorial.
